During the programme, participants attend Q&A sessions, workshops and taster lectures delivered by Cambridge academics, exploring a range of exciting topics from the Natural Sciences Tripos and learning about the application process.
There is also the chance to meet current St John’s students.
Participants’ meals and accommodation are provided free of charge by St John’s College.
Applications for this residential programme have now closed. They were open to students about to start Year 13 (England/Wales) or equivalent who are considering applying to Cambridge this year and are on track to meet and exceed the entry requirements for our Natural Sciences Biological and Natural Sciences Physical courses.
Places are limited and applications are assessed on academic merit. Priority is given to those from UK state schools outside London and the South East.
The closing date for applications and teacher references was 4pm on Friday 16th May 2025. Successful applicants will be notified shortly after this date and further details will be provided about the 2025 course at that point.
