What does it mean to live a good life? What does a good society look like? How do our studies contribute to the betterment of communities, humanity and the planet? The Common Good programme at St John’s provides a space to reflect on how we, as human beings in all our diversity, work, live and thrive together in the 21st century.
This annual programme is shaped by keynote lectures, discussions, networking events, workshops, visits and volunteering, to explore questions that prepare students for life beyond their degree.
Convened by the Chapel team, the programme draws on wisdom from a range of academic disciplines and the experience of those working in civic and public life.
