With responsibilities focusing on the College’s celebrated Choir and organ, he works with the Choristers, Choral Scholars, Choral Graduates and Organ Scholars to provide music that enhances the liturgy of the Chapel, upholding a tradition that dates from the 1670s. He also has a role supporting all non-academic music-making in College. He read Music as an undergraduate at Pembroke College before postgraduate study at the Royal College of Music. He was Director of Music at Truro Cathedral for 15 years before his appointment at St John’s.
