Background

Dr Robinson was the Director of Music at St John's College from 1991 until his retirement in 2003. He was educated at Rugby School and Christ Church College, Oxford, where he was organ scholar. His previous positions include organist and Director of Music at Worcester Cathedral (1963-75), organist and Director of Music at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle (1975-91), conductor of the City of Birmingham Choir (1964-2002) and conductor of the Bach Choir (1977-97).
