Dr Kilburn-Toppin is Director of Breast Screening and a Consultant Radiologist in Cambridge University Hospital, having graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2006. She is a Fellow, Medical Lecturer and Director of Studies in Clinical Medicine at St John’s College. She is on the Executive Board for the European Society for Breast Imaging and was the Visiting Professor for the Royal College of Radiology and British Society of Breast Radiology in 2023.
Dr Kilburn-Toppin directs studies for Clinical Medicine. She is the sub-specialty training lead for breast imaging for the East of England Imaging Academy Health Education England. In a wider European role, she is on the educational committee board for both the European Society of Breast Imaging and European Society of Radiology, which involves organising education events and programmes and delivering the European breast diploma. She is the current chair for the e-learning editorial board for the European Congress of Radiology.
