Dr Martin Richards

After obtaining a degree in Mathematics at Cambridge, Dr Richards stayed on and completed a Diploma in numerical analysis and automatic computing followed by a PhD in Computer Science. After two years at MIT, he was invited to to return to the Computer Laboratory in Cambridge to assist in Computer Science courses and undertake reseach. He retired fom his position as Senior Lecturer at the age of 67. He has continued to pursue his research interests since then.
