Departmental homepageDr Wood studied at Imperial College before postdocs in Canada and the USA. He was a lecturer at the University of East Anglia before moving to Cambridge in 2000.
Dr Wood lectures on inorganic reactivity, organometallic chemistry and inorganic materials chemistry (particularly magnetochemistry) in the Chemistry Department. In College he supervises all inorganic chemistry topics in the first three years of the Tripos as well as all parts of the Chemistry Part IA course.
Dr Wood's research is focused on applications of metal organic frameworks and other transition metal-ligand polymers, particularly materials for gas storage and separation and magnetic materials.
