Dr Wood studied at Imperial College before postdocs in Canada and the USA. He was a lecturer at the University of East Anglia before moving to Cambridge in 2000.
Dr Wood lectures on inorganic reactivity, organometallic chemistry and inorganic materials chemistry (particularly magnetochemistry) in the Chemistry Department. In College he supervises all inorganic chemistry topics in the first three years of the Tripos as well as all parts of the Chemistry Part IA course.
