Professor Suhov is Emeritus Professor of Applied Probability in the Statistical Laboratory in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics at the University of Cambridge. He is also affiliated to the University of São Paolo in Brazil and to the Moscow Institute of Information Transmission Problems. He completed his PhD at the Moscow State University in 1971 and was awarded a DrSci from Vilnius State University, Lithuania, in 1984.
