Departmental homepageTanya Kirk was appointed Librarian at St John's in 2024. Prior to that, she had worked as a senior curator specialising in early printed books at the British Library. She has expertise in English literature, especially the history of genre fiction and the printing history of Shakespeare, and in the materiality of early books. She has extensive experience of making library collections accessible via exhibitions and public engagement.
